Stop at the Bus Stop

Don't you think it's a good day to be somewhere far? To have a long ride under the trees where the road seem so clean. I have the urge to go out of my comfort zone and without 2nd thought I packed my bag. I'm the type of person who love just sleep and roll around my small house that being alone make it big. I work as a freelancer and work inside my house, eat, exercise, and sleep. I only went outside to buy groceries and other necessity but it's seldom that one may think this house is empty as the doors and windows are always closed.

I don't have any friend.

I know people like former classmates but I don't consider them as a friend and they don't consider me as one either.

But, what drives me to break this unending circle of same routine? I don't even know. I didn't bring my motorcycle and decided to take the bus for my travel to unknown destination. I will just pick whatever that sounds okay. I brought some clothes with me and cash if ever atm is not available. I also pack snacks and drinks so I won't die of ever I got stranded somewhere, at least I'll be able to live for a few days if ever that happen. As I arrived at the terminal, people are shouting varioud places. They are asking me one after the other and I don't have any idea where I will be headed. I started to read the signage one by one. I can't decide, I saw a bus already leaving, I slowly raised my hand and the bus stopped, I started running and hop on the bus.

I wonder what place awaits me. How will I know I am already at my destination? I think I will just stop at the bus stop.

Long ride. Roads covered with trees. This is so relaxing, I hope I will not regret this unplanned escapade.

The majestic Mayon Volcano, I only see this on media amd pictures never thought I'll fell in love at first sight.

As the ride goes on, an elderly sat beside me. She mumbled how Mayon is still beautiful in her eyes even though she can see it every day. I took this chance to ask her wonderful places here in the province. She smiled and put our a small album and describe to me the photos one by one.

She told me that as you hike upward and reach the top, you will find yourself going down again in the middle. Like a "kawa" or a bowl. That's why it's said to be a hill without hilltop. There are also deers and sunflower there.

She flipped the page and told me this one's called Sumlang Lake. You can dine in there with the perfect view of the volcano.

Next destination is called Quituinday Hills, if you love hiking this is good for you.

Good for camping and family and barkada outing.

Another hiking adventure is in Quituinan Hills. As you reached the top, you can do a lot of activities like horse riding.

A perfect view of Mayon is waiting as well.

There are a lot of hills to climb and wonderful places to visits. There are more pictures that she showed me and told me she's an adventurer back when she's still young. She even went most of this places alone, but it's also a different type of happiness of you're with someone like a family or friend. She even offered me a map that she draw herself in case I want to visit those places. She told me to ask and ask and ask whenever I fell lost because there'll always be someone who's willing to help.

She tell me a lot of stories that we didn't realize we're already at the Bus terminal in Legazpi.

Guess I don't want to be alone in my hoise anymore. I want to interact to some people. I know it won't be easy and maybe I'll be disappointed and might get rejected at times but I think that's part of growing up.

I never regret this decision and today marks my first adventure!
