Half Baked

Happy Sunday 😌

Still raining here. I just got home from the church, this will a short article because I have to review for my exam tomorrow.

From this week, God disciplined me because I did something wrong. Yup, God disciplined His children when they committed what's against His will and am one of them. There are times that we want to do something good. Our intentions are for the welfare of other people or our love ones. However, we sometimes wonder why things happen the other way around. This week gave me a realizations that the thing I did wrong is not trusting on Him 100%. I relied on my ways even though I know that I can't do any thing alone. Even my intention is for the good, my ways are not. I hurried things and didn't wait for His answers.

We can't serve two Gods. If I am serving the Lord, I should not serve the World. The things in this world are not permanent, it will soon perish, so I shouldn't love the world and anything in this world. I shouldn't be a half baked pie that seems cook but still uncooked.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean in your own understanding.

~Prov 3:5

There are a lot of things that we can't understand, things that go beyond what we can comprehend. Sometimes it's difficult for us to obey because we can't decipher what are the plans of God, but we should put our trust on Him and follow even though it's confusing. We are just humans and God is God, of course there are instances that we couldn't understand His plans because again we're just humans. Trust and have faith.

Before one can all to that, we should first understand what is salvation. How God so love the world. What God did for us and what awaits if we don't know where we will go after this life on earth. And it's you who should seek, for your spirit.

So, if you decide to serve God, forsake all those things that hinder you from serving Him.
