Kyiv was bombed by russian rockets this morning

It's been a while since Kyiv was bombed. The city restored its economic life which traffic jams and more and more new businesses opened. But today Russia has launched 83 rockets so far this morning, (45 have been shot down), this number might be bigger, I'm citing the number which I have at the moment of writing this article. Some of the explosions I heard myself, it sounded as if it was very near, but I know it was a bit far away.

You can see some of the photos. This is Shevchenko boulevard, I drive there often. That's the place where around there are many embassies, business offices, and cultural places.

And this photo - that's where they hit a children's yard in Shevchenko park. Because of its central location, this park and this particular children playground is very popular. This time russian decided to strike in the morning, at the "peak hour" to cause more panic, more deaths and more damages. In some media, I saw info that their target was SBU (Security Services of Ukraine), but those who know Kyiv - will understand that's nowhere near.

russians are continuing the genocide and kill more and more Ukrainians. this massive strike might be considered as "revenge" for the crimean bridge (even though Ukraine didn't take responsibility for that strike and there is a version that russian forces blew it up themselves)

So they also hit the new pedestrian bridge in the center of Kyiv. That's actually very popular place among foreigner visitors of Ukrainian capital. You can see the strike in this video

I heard several versions why Kyiv was not attacked last few months. One of the versions was that putin wants to leave some place for diplomatic, peace negotiations, another version that Chinese leader (whose opinion he listens to) asked him not to bomb the capital, and the third version that russians are just running out of rockets.

But now it's more clear that this will end only when russia collapses, when putin dies, only then russians might stop this war, this genocide.

Kyiv is a big city and Ukraine is a big country. For many civilians, this is like a lottery - the chance that particularly your house would be hit and that you will die might be not so big. But we all know friends and people who died, were injured, whose property was destroyed... the sooner russia collapses - the better it will be for everyone, for the whole world.
