Funeral. Igla

On Friday, March 24, 2023, the funeral of another soldier took place in Kyiv. Vorona Artur Oleksandrovнch "Igla" ➖AZOVSTAL ➖ senior contract soldier, scout (senior machine gunner) of the 1st branch of the 2nd combat group of the special purpose intelligence group of the Azov Special Operations Command.

The religious ritual took place in the Volodymyrskyy Cathedral. I have been to this cathedral dozens of times, but for the first time - on such an occasion. Before the service, we were standing outside, Korik and Oberig mentioned Igla that he was very calm. They even mentioned the circumstances of his death, which I will not recount here, but I remembered it.

The church service lasted longer than in St. Michael's Cathedral. The priest recalled that just a year ago, Arthur's girlfriend came to the cathedral and they prayed for him. The priest made a long speech, recalling that Arthur came to the Maidan for the Revolution of Dignity and that was the beginning of his journey, which is why he then decided to join the army. Then the priest told a little more about Arthur and his life path.

Then - the road through half of the city to the Berkovets city cemetery, on the Alley of Heroes, where the burial took place. I've been here recently, we arrive early, and I manage to smoke 3 cigarettes, almost one after the other. I was here recently - but it is clear that the cemetery is being developed - new metal structures have appeared. It was a cloudy day, but the sun came out again, so I put on dark glasses.
