Serdeshnyi Artem Mykolayovych "Bryan" ➖OLENIVKA➖ sergeant, assistant grenade launcher of the rifle division of the platoon of the training process of the personnel training battalion
The distance is far from Kyiv, so we left on Sunday, the previous day. We left around 15:00, from the Baikovyi cemetery, and were in Zaporizhzhia at almost exactly 11 p.m. Why exactly in Zaporizhzhia, because something had to be taken there. And already from Zaporizhzhia - 2 hours to the village of Verbky, and we left the next day. I was pleasantly surprised that the OKKO gas station in Pavlohrad served coffee for free.
Many people gathered near the house to say farewell. They waited a long time for the priest. I had already begun to think that his tardiness was not accidental, but later after the service he spoke patriotically, so I rejected the idea that something was wrong. But waiting in the scorching sun is really tiring, in the yard we still stood on the side where there is no shade... After the service, which lasted a long time, we left for the cemetery.
We go slowly. On the way, we see people kneeling around the road, many with flags. This is a different Ukraine, which you will not see among popular bloggers, among the noise and luxury of back towns, among foreign peace and the liberal smell of money...
I handed over the flag and read the Prayer of the Ukrainian Nationalist. I didn't know how it would be in the cemetery, because there were no Azov people except me and Edward, but people repeated the Prayer. Especially young people, children supported and it was wonderful. The new generation may be better than us... then we decided on a long road to Kyiv with stops and stops in several more places...
