This is the proposal I've submitted to Fund10 of Project Catalyst (DAO in Cardano ecosystem). I'm republishing it on my crypto-blogs to get more feedback from the general crypto community. And of course, if you are ADA holder soon you'll be able to vote for my proposal.

My solution is to increase awareness about dReps and Cardano governance by making interviews with dReps, dRep candidates and prominent members of Cardano ecosystem.

I'm doing similar interviews for years since Fund1.

After each interview, there will be a text version (transcription) and it will be published on 15+ crypto-blog platforms

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Answer:

This Cardano-related content will be focused on governance, on the new changes in Cardano ecosystem and Project Catalyst. Also, I think it will be important to show dReps and dRep candidates as human beings: who are they, how did they become interested in cyptocurrencies, why and when they joined Cardano, what is their vision, what are their goals?

The variety of this content will increase the awareness about dReps. Both video version and text version will exists

[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

Answer:

First of all, we'll notice when more people will become interested in becoming dReps.

The easy way to measure will be number of views of the video and combined number of views of the text version publication on all platforms.

Engagement such as comments, reposts will be also helpful

[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

Answer:

All the videos will be done in live mode (I use Restream software) so the community can participate live or watch the video episode later on Cryptotexty channel. Then in a few days or up to 1 week, a text version will be prepared and also shared with Cardano community and additionally on 15+ crypto blog platforms

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Answer:

I'm running Cryptotexty channel since 2018 and somewhere since 2020 I did Cardano interviews and this is something which I will continue to do (even if my proposal is not supported)

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Answer:

The main goals are to increase awareness about dReps, Catalyst, Cardano governance and Cardano in general (as some of my audience are not from Cardano community)

I already invited several people to Project Catalyst, some might say in the future - I became dRep after watching your interviews...

And the easier way to validate is to see the general number of views, comments, shares, etc.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

Answer:

Every interview will be a milestone.

Every interview will have a text version (in few days or within a week)

Every interview will be shared with Cardano community and on 15+ crypto-blogs

I plan to do interviews at least 1 per week, so there will be at least 4 interviews per month, and the whole set of 30 interviews will be done in 8 months (or sooner)

Answer:

1999 ADA per interview

500 ADA - my rewards

500 ADA - reserved for video promotion, giveaways, rewards, etc.)

1999 x 30 = 59 970 total budget

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

Answer:

The interviews will be done by me (Andrii, Cryptotexty)

For the text version (transcription and editing), publishing on crypto-blogs, advertising I will ask the help of my assistant Alyona.

Depending on her availability I might engage other people in additional activities (Especially creation of text version as it's the most time consuming task)

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Answer:

The cost of 1 interview is 1999 ADA (which is at the moment of submission is $580) which is not big comparing to general budget of category and how much funds are spend for marketing.

We can also take to account that each video will be shared twice (as a video and then as text version) on 15+ crypto-blogs. So 580/30 = $19 (so that's only 19 dollars per publication)

And finally speaking, this is something I enjoy doing for free. Yes, I will continue this activity anyway.

But if we have dRep category - why not to try get funding for doing what you like?..
