Are you ready to take part in an experimental hackathon and open space learning experience?
This Friday August 13th 2021, ADA MakerSpace is launching a Hackathon MVP designed to help entrepreneurs, developers, and community members connect around the topic of building in the Cardano Ecosystem.
What happens when you create scheduled times to brainstorm with others about what it takes to build an idea on Cardano blockchain, and offer prizes for showing up to the meetings?
We’re going to find out during August 13th thru the 29th, and you have an opportunity to take part in the hackathon brainstorming sessions on zoom. You can come to talk about your idea you want to build, give feedback on ideas others are sharing, give insights about coding and development, or just sit and listen and learn from the conversations.
No matter your skill level or background, you have insights you can contribute to the hackathon so join ADA MakerSpace Academy and register for the hackathon. You can take part in as many of the brainstorming sessions you want, but the more you attend the bigger portion of the PrizePool you will receive.
We are thankful to have sponsorship from Occam and IOHK that contributed ADA to Prizes, and DEV Challenge Sponsors Occam, Adosia, and SPOCRA that contributed other native assets that can be won by developing the challenges.
Elliot Hill, Head of Communications at Occam.fi, says:
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work alongside ADA Maker Space during their Experiential Hackathon. Community-led hackathons are instrumental in pushing power to the edges, and proving our commitment to the Cardano ecosystem. We aren’t content with simply throwing money at problems. Instead, we are opening the doors for a collaborative approach with the most engaged members of the Cardano community, and we think that is the most powerful way to bring about tangible progress and change.”
Also during the event there will be special quest Thought Leader workshops presented by developers who have experience building on Cardano. On August 18th 20:00 UTC The Ancient Kraken is going to talk about the logical flow of faucets on Cardano and the current state of interacting with smart contracts with the cardano-cli.
Stay tuned to the event schedule because we may be adding more workshops during the hackathon, and having special guests attending the scheduled brainstorming sessions.
So now is the time for you to take action and Pitch your Idea to receive feedback on how to build a MVP, or you should be checking out the Developer Challenges from Sponsors, join brainstorming sessions to provide and gain insights, and Provide Helpful Feedback to those pitching ideas.
Just by signing up and taking part in the Hackathon you will receive a portion of this Prizepool, so what are you waiting for, join this experiment in open space learning and development.
