Feeling something that will happen before it happens
The 'intuition' that something will happen. Does this happen to you too: 'I felt it beforehand, I said it wouldn't happen, or I told you that he can't be trusted...' and similar statements? If yes, we can say that you have a strong intuition. If not, don't worry, there are many ways to improve your ability to sense things in advance. But before we talk about how we can strengthen our intuition, let's take a deeper look at intuition.
Intuition is the ability to know something without analytical reasoning, a kind of personal power that fills the gap between the conscious and unconscious parts of our mind. Although it is a bit difficult to define technically, intuition is actually a kind of innate knowing or the ability to know what is true, to sense what is going to happen in advance. Although every person has intuitive abilities, some people use them more effectively, while others may ignore their intuition. This is why some people can make decisions on the fly or act quickly and without fear in situations that are difficult to know and predict; because they trust their intuition.
Intuition is variable, that is, it is not fixed, it does not always stay the same and does not move in the same direction. It changes, transforms and develops, sometimes with effort and sometimes without realizing it. Intuition doesn't come from the conscious mind, it's not an analytical skill, so it doesn't develop through research or by fixating on a goal, running towards it, trying to reach it. Rather, it develops when you are still and take time to stop and think, to be passive, to look back at yourself.
Intuitive people often feel that they can easily pick up on their gut reactions and are comfortable listening to them. For example, one friend may be able to quickly discern what is good and what is bad for a business you are starting together, while other friends may consider all the available options at length. People with strong intuition can make inferences about events and people seemingly without much effort. Strong intuition is important not only for sensing in advance what is going to happen, good or bad, but also for making the right decisions, the right choices. Intuition can be a 'gamechanger' when reason, logic and rationalism are blocked or insufficient.
There are many scientific studies on intuition, hundreds of books written and thousands of famous names. However, Dr. Judith Orloff, the author of The Intuitive Healing Guide, is one of the most effective intuitionists. "Advanced intuition is a 'secret weapon'; it gives you all kinds of information you wouldn't normally have. This is not brain analysis; this is non-linear information. It's a second kind of intelligence." Orloff adds: "People can develop intuition even if they think they don't have it." So let's unleash this power that we all have, and learn how we can make our intuition even stronger.
Especially when you are at a crossroads where you are not sure where you are going or when you are on the verge of a big decision and you wish you could 'hear that voice inside me' or 'somehow know what I should do', you can strengthen your intuition to guide you. Moreover, you can draw strength from your intuition even when you feel the most distressed and hopeless.
We all have some intuitive abilities, that little hidden voice that tries to guide us through life. But the world fills our heads with so many thoughts that we eventually lose the habit of listening to that voice. Meditation practices are an effective way to calm the mind and listen to that voice. When you silence your thoughts, you can listen to your inner voice more clearly and easily and open up your intuition.
Logic is based on information that can be perceived through the senses, so it cannot go beyond what we know, it limits knowledge. Intuition, on the other hand, is beyond what is known, beyond what is perceived with emotion, and has no boundaries, lines or limits. If you realize that logic ends at some point, you can motivate yourself to give your intuition more chances.
As most of us know, the left side of the brain deals with processes based on logic and reality, such as analysis, logical thinking and rational decisions, while the right side deals with creativity, emotions, feelings and intuition. When the left brain is heavily supported, the right can be weakened, and so can intuition. Therefore, you can increase the volume of your intuition by spending time with meditation, music, art activities and similar activities that will activate the right side of your brain.
I have that. I am not sure if I have that because I have anxiety, which is bad or my instinct is really strong because of some sad events that happened in my life. Mostly, I trust my intuition and it never get me wrong.
