First-thing... "What is CBD?"

CBD is also known as cannabidiol, which is considered the second most pervasive ingredient of cannabis which is what is also found in marijuana. One of the most essential components of medical marijuana is CBD; which is also derived from the hemp plant (a variety of the cannabis sativa plant species that is grown mainly for industrial uses) which is one of the fastest growing plants and is also one of the first plants to be spun into usable fibers well over 50k years ago.

If "Marijuana" is illegal (in most states); isn't "CBD" illegal (in most states) as well?

In today's society many states (all 50) have laws legalizing CBD with degrees of restrictions associated. The FDA decided to "let-up" the regulatory requirements to allow researchers to conduct trials to cut-back on confusion to ensure where the CBD comes from. It is said that the legalities of CBD is expected to change in lieu of the bipartisan consensus to make the hemp crop officially legal.
