A student like me during this time of pandemic have no choice but to deal with this situation, we can't run away to this world's crisis. So many people adjust their work from office now at home, students go to school before and now school from home.
I know we need to overcome this situation, we have no choice but to walk on this path and face the struggle everyday of our lives.
We have no choice because we don't want to be left behind from class and we don't want to be our dreams and goals be delayed.
Teachers and students have their own levels of difficulties in this time of pandemic.
Many of teachers are not fond of technology but had no choice but to learn it, we as a student, we appreciated all of the efforts you've done for us. I know that the you also suffer from stresses but we can't blame the situation right. We all thank you for all the efforts and sacrifices you've done for us, to learn in a long distance mode but.....
I know that we all had struggles both teachers and students...
but why some other teachers/professors don't give considerations to those students who are struggling, the following are some situations I want to point of:
first, low internet connection. Some other professors/teachers don't give considerations to those students who have low internet connection, the tendency is that they are being disconnected from the online class and some maybe can't even be online. My point is that they mark the student/s as absent just because they didn't meet the rules the teachers implemented.
second, no considerations on giving deadlines. Why is it so hard to understand that not all students can passed all the deadlines on time? Of course they are not in school, they are at home not just online classes are their responsibilities unlike face to face classes but at home being a student is hard, the responsibilities added: online class, taking care of siblings, cooking for the family, doing household chores, etc. Students have to accomplish many works at home before they do their homeworks or activities on their class. Not all students are rich that have a nanny at home.
third, deduction of points on late submissions. It is also related to the second one, why some give deductions to students who submits late or don't comply on the deadline, even if it's an excellent work. Students don't have the same working time on acads. I know there are many reasons to comply on time but there are also reasons that others can't. I don't if this is true at some point, I guess other teachers/professors don't open the documents/works of the student they just grade according to the time when they submitted. I don't know it is so frustrating
my fourth and last point is, why are you giving to much work to a student, urrgghhh. Is it normal to have 8 activities to do in only 1 subject? Students are not robots who can do it on time like what the! do you still consider us as a human? have mercy! Just think that you are not the only subject/prof we have, for a students like me taking like 9 subjects in one semester and you just give more activities suits for 9 subjects. I just can't handle the situation. Look at this assigned work of mine, it is only for one subject! ONLY FOR ONE SUBJECT!
I know many of you relate to this situation, I just to say all the frustrations I've been suffering for almost a year.
But I know that we can get through this, just keep moving forward.
