Just like the hills
Standing on top of that hill
Felling clouds and wind.
With broken heart and confuse mind
In a world full of nonsense
Simple rhyme makes sense
Rhymes is preferred to reason
And is followed like a fashion
Reason stresses the mind
Rhyme helps it to unwind
Words are nice to hear
If their rhymes are clear
Whatever it is they propound
They evoke an alluring sound
Take the word RATIONALITY
It sounds boring unlike idiocy
Idiocy is possessed of a melody
To the ear it's a sound of beauty
But when joined they rhyme,
The sound of which is divine
Not knowing right from wrong
I would rather listen to a song
No matter how stupid its lines
If they rhyme, well, it's just fine
In our world filled with nonsense
Not a thought is worth two cents
Every word spoken is a babble
It's better kept under the rubble
Well taken are words that rhyme
Their sounds are worth a dime
Rhyme minus the reason
Brings in a good season
For the ear to indulge in
so melodious a hymn
like the hiss of a wind
Wordless yet full of meaning
To a soul that is meditating
Rhyme over reason delights emotion
It revs up a hesitant feeling in motion
It serenades a heart seared and broken
Convincing it to try falling in love again
