Precisely what I am trying to do is to show a fairy of will to move the spirit of the writer (and why not the reader?) to start an investigation and survey to try to explore how much, or not, Venezuelan citizens want to take advantage of the countless opportunities and benefits of blockchain technology and the web3.

All the technology that enables the existence and development of cryptocurrencies is extremely broad, we usually summarize everything with one word Blockchain and it is not wrong, in fact, it is the appropriate term, but what happens with extremely specialized terms is that to most people these terms represent very little or rather, nothing. To take a random example, not many people we might run into on the street will know or understand what fluid dynamics is and what it is all about, unless you are in civil engineering or physics, this is irrelevant to you. But, everyone needs drinking water, even if they know nothing about fluid dynamics.

The same happens with money, although it is in everyone's hand or well almost everyone, only few people know how money really works, although they use it daily they do not know how it is generated. Why would it be different with cryptocurrencies? I think we should focus our gaze and direct our energies to show people the benefits of this new technology and then little by little educate them about how it works in a profound way.

Right now, Venezuela is the country with more Bitcoin transactions, but I go out in the street and it seems that most people do not know what Bitcoin is about, and when I try to talk to them about the existence of ways to start using cryptocurrencies, they become closed. I have a feeling that the Crypto world to this day behaves like the phrase in the prologue of Nietzsche's Zarathustra "...it is for everyone and no one."

I do not feel that Venezuela possesses all the conditions to adopt cryptocurrencies in a generalized way, however, this should not be a limit for those of us who work as disseminators and educators of the blockchain system. I must confess that I, myself, sympathize with two projects that I think are great, each with their unique characteristics that make them for me, the two best projects with untold potential in their growth and with unparalleled scalability. On the one hand, the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, and, on the other hand, the Hive blockchain.

Now, knowing that the necessary means do not exist for a massive adoption, I think the work is harder, but it has been building a critical mass of people who believe and trust in blockchain technology and continue to publicize these projects is the task, show and demonstrate the reliability, and how beneficial it would be for everyone in Venezuela as far as possible to adopt blockchain technology in different areas.

Toda la tecnología que posibilita la existencia y el desarrollo de las criptomonedas es extremadamente amplia, normalmente resumimos todo con una palabra Blockchain y no está mal, de hecho, es el término apropiado, pero lo que sucede con términos extremadamente especializados es que a la mayoría de las personas estos términos representan muy poco o más bien, nada. De igual modo ocurre con el dinero, aunque está en la mano de todos o bueno casi todos, solo pocas personas saben como funciona realmente el dinero, aunque lo usen a diario desconocen como se genera. ¿Por qué sería diferente con las criptomonedas? Creo que debemos enfocar la mirada y direccionar las energías a mostrarle a las personas los beneficios de eta nueva tecnología y luego poco a poco ir educando sobre su funcionamiento de manera profunda.

Ahora mismo, Venezuela, es el país con más transacciones Bitcoin, pero, salgo a la calle y pareciera que la mayoría de las personas no saben de qué va el Bitcoin, y cuando le intento hablar de que existen modos de comenzar a usar criptomonedas se tornan cerrados. Tengo el presentimiento que el mundo Cripto hasta el día de hoy se comporta como la frase del prólogo del Zaratustra de Nietzsche “...es para todos y para nadie.”

No siento que Venezuela posea todas las condiciones para adoptar de manera generalizada a las criptomonedas, sin embargo, esto no debería ser un límite para quienes trabajamos como difusores y educadores del sistema blockchain. Debo confesar que yo, simpatizo con dos proyectos que me parecen estupendos, cada uno con sus características únicas que los hacen para mí, los dos mejores proyectos con un potencial indecible en su crecimiento y con una escalabilidad sin igual. Por un lado, la blockchain de Bitcoin Cash, y, por otro lado, la blockchain de Hive.

Ahora bien, a sabiendas de la no existencia de los medios necesarios para una adopción masiva, creo que el trabajo es más duro, pero se ha venido construyendo una masa crítica de personas que creen y confían en la tecnología blockchain y seguir dando a conocer estos proyectos es la tarea, mostrar y demostrar la confiabilidad, y lo benéfico que sería para todos en Venezuela en la medida de lo posible poder adoptar la tecnología blockchain en sus diferentes ámbitos.
