Let's imagine that in the not too distant future, each publishing house has its own platform and that writers can postulate their works according to the criteria of the publisher, even if this is something centralized, writers can choose where and how to offer their works NFT, because this will open the way to decentralized platforms in building a project like this.

Environmentally, it could have its benefits because we would no longer need paper, because reading and writing would be digital. It is undoubtedly the approach and the displacement that we as a society are making towards the digital. Although I am one of the people who prefer to read a book in physical format rather than in digital format, it is undoubtedly that the use of paper is harmful to society by cutting down trees, although it is also very harmful the waste of electricity every time new projects are added to the crypto world, but the energy issue we will leave for another time. The truth is that thinking about literary texts as an NFT article is a very interesting task for me. I think I'm going to investigate about it, I do not promise anything, just that I will document myself a lot about this matter and then I will tell you about it. Because each author has the rights to his work, by selling a book as a NFT he would not be able to assign his rights. What I find interesting is that publishers are already thinking about the NFT issue.

As I said, I prefer a physical text, on paper, I love that, and maybe this in the future of NFT books is not something that will be lost, but it will be in the background. You can opt for a physical version when you buy your NFT. Also, it would be interesting to think of this technology as a strategy against piracy. Because even though, it is something that seems like it will not go away, with the use of blockchain technology in the book market it will be a tough action against piracy.

Ambientalmente, podría tener sus beneficios porque ya no necesitaríamos papel, porque la lectura y escritura seria algo digital. Es indudable el acercamiento y el desplazamiento que como sociedad vamos haciendo hacia lo digital. Aunque, soy de las personas que prefiere leer un libro en formato físico antes que en formato digital, es indudable que el uso del papel es nocivo para la sociedad por la tala de árboles, aunque también es muy nocivo el gasto de energía eléctrica cada vez que se van anexando nuevos proyectos al mundo cripto, pero el asunto energético vamos a dejarlo para otra ocasión. Lo cierto es que pensar a los textos literarios como un artículo NFT me resulta una tarea muy interesante. Creo voy a investigar al respecto, no prometo nada, solo que me documentaré bastante sobre este asunto y luego les contaré. Porque cada autor tiene los derechos de su obra, al vender un libro como un NFT no podría ceder sus derechos. Lo que me parece interesante es que las casas editoriales ya vayan pensando el asunto de los NFT.

Como dije, prefiero un texto en físico, en papel, eso me encanta, y quizá esto en el futuro de los libros NFT no es algo que se vaya a perder, sino que quedará en un segundo plano. Puedes optar por una versión física al adquirir tu NFT. También, sería interesante pensar esta tecnología como una estrategia en contra de la piratería.
