Friendship depends on trust, not money, not power, not mere education or knowledge. Only if there is trust will there be friendship. Trust is related to whether we have a sincere motivation. If we are sincere in taking care of others, if we protect their lives and respect their rights, we’ll be able to conduct our lives transparently and that is the basis of trust, which in turn is the basis of friendship.
