Cristians: Help others by being a good leader, recognizing and encouraging them to move forward.
The best attitude to live in these days is giving thanks, being grateful is an attitude that favors you in every way. One thing I do and practice for a long time when I wake up is to give thanks, as simple as that, I take a minute to give thanks for being born again today, for being able to breathe, to feel; also for seeing the man I love next to me even though he snores a lot; I give thanks when I look out the window and see my community so beautiful, my neighbors going to their jobs, listen to the birds singing or feel the rain touching my face, and there are so many things for which we can be thankful that we would not have enough time to finish the day.
Why or for whom would you give thanks today? Have you thought about that? How nice it would be to give thanks for your health, even if it is not 100% as we all would like, or how nice it would be to give thanks for the affection that your loved ones give you, to give thanks when you see your children get up and hear them say "blessing mom".
Well friends, let's start each day thanking our father God for everything, without complaining so much, here we all suffer, but we must not stop giving thanks, because that is what helps us to have a good attitude to the problems. I invite you to start every day giving thanks for what you are, for what you do, for what you can do and for what you receive.
Today I want to talk to you about a very beautiful topic, how to be a leader and not die trying. We are all leaders, I for example am a leader in my house, I am a leader in my building and some time ago I was also a leader in my work. I invite you to work a little bit on this subject according to the Holy Scriptures.
Acts of the Apostles 4:36-37
36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Comforter[a]), 37 sold a piece of land he owned, took the money and put it at the apostles' disposal.
Today I want to analyze with you this little fragment, Barnabas was the nickname of Joseph, and that nickname meant comforter; Barnabas was a leader, but not a leader for having property or being rich, but a leader from the heart, There are people who were really born to be leaders, because they encourage and encourage anyone who needs it. A leader is optimistic, is positive and has the ability to fill the hearts of all those around him with strength.
Well, this little fragment tells us many things and I was able to understand them recently thanks to a talk we had with our spiritual leader, let's see what he says:
Confidence in capabilities always opens new opportunities.
A true leader is able to see opportunities where others only see misfortunes or problems.
A true leader begins by first giving confidence and comfort to himself.
Acts 11:21
When he came and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged everyone to remain faithful to the Lord with a steadfast heart.
In this chapter we continue to see the positive, comforting attitude of Barnabas, as a leader who in spite of the circumstances continues to encourage, seeing the good in what has been done, even though all things are not fully accomplished.
A true leader sees and is happy to recognize what another has also done, even if the task is not finished, does not reproach, does not scold, only encourages.
A leader feels joy, kindness, optimism in others. Do not be surprised that if a person is bitter, he can only see bitterness in others. There is a proverb that says "The world is definitely not as it is, but as we see it".
A true leader is not selfish, nor can he be bazaar only in his accomplishments, on the contrary he must be attentive to what others also do and the good that generates each action that others undertake. A leader is able to understand that everyone works as a team to achieve the common goal.
I wish we could all be or have something of Barnabas, who was a true leader who served as an example for others to learn and to continue learning today.
Well friends, I say goodbye but not before asking the God of life to bless us always, to give us joy, happiness, strength and mercy, to fill us with peace and much love.
Glorify yourself in us Lord, so that we may be true leaders and so that we may always seek you with true love and not out of self-interest.
A good leader is also a good follower❤️❤️❤️
