The Bell Church, located near the Baguio-La Trinidad boundary, is the focus of religious and cultural activities for Baguio's Chinese-Filipino population.
Ng Pee, a Chinese immigrant from the Canton Region, founded Bell Church in 1960.
This Chinese temple is primarily influenced by Taoist architecture, although it also incorporates Buddhist motifs and is built using traditional Chinese techniques.
When you get at Bell Church, you will be greeted by an exquisite arch with dragon accents and Chinese lettering. Two octagonal lotus ponds resembling a Bagua can be found in front of the temple.
It depicts the concept of rebirth and immortality in Chinese culture. Prepare to be enchanted by the soaring pagodas, dragons, and lion statues, as well as the bells that adorn Bell Church, as you tour the grounds.
