I am amazed at the speed with which the ants and bachacos that live here in the patio work, I am amazed at how fast they build their external walls of the anthill in just one night.
I believe that if they were hired for a mega construction they would build it in one night. I tell you this because my 11 year old son yesterday was playing and destroying the anthills, he was playing the giant that was crushing and destroying everything in its path. 😬

Here is my story about a rake, a yard and endless leaves. As I told you in a previous post I moved to a new city and taking the rake by the handle this is how my mornings start.
Every morning when I wake up I go out to the patio of this new house where there are not one, not two, not three, but four beautiful and imposing mango trees that every day I see their leaves fall and with my rake and my coffee I go out to collect the green, yellow and dry leaves.
There are also the birds (parrots, turpipes and sparrow hawks) that are shelling their mangoes but they leave a trail in my courtyard and I with my rake continue my work among their songs and alaracas.
Enjoying the bright sunshine, a little cold and a better awakening, I am here, I who was used to the life in the other city, something has changed my way of seeing and living the daily life.
I also take some time to water these impressive mango trees, all in bloom and waiting for their fruits.
