Read it, it's great! The useful and the valuable. Perhaps one of the things we need most is to learn to distinguish the useful from the valuable. A corkscrew is useful, A hug is valuable, A door is useful, Watching a sunset is valuable, A lighter is useful A friendship is valuable. Almost always, what is useful is more expensive than what is valuable. In fact, what is valuable rarely costs money. This is because money is useful, but it is not valuable. The valuable generates much more happiness in the long run than the useful. And yet, often, we value the useful more than the valuable. The best moments in life do not cost money. Seeing the birth of a child, the first kiss, feeling like you're flying hand in hand with someone... The moments that cross our minds just before we leave this world did not cost money. Those moments are the most precious thing we have When a worry strikes you, stop and think about whether what you are looking for is useful or valuable. Learn to distinguish, and you will realise that living well is not as expensive as you have been told. That's why I've always said that money is useful but not valuable. #valuable #useful
