Crypto-exchange Coinbase is reportedly making preparations to get listed as a publicly listed company in the United States by the end of 2020.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) remains a tough obstacle to overcome for the $8B exchange in order to go public due to risks associated with Bitcoin (BTC).

However, it is a step forward to gain more awareness and improve public perception towards cryptocurrencies.
