The Hospital you see in this picture, the most important in my town, is named after Giuseppe Brotzu. He discoverered the antibiotics that were effective against Salmonella typhi, the cause of typhoid fever, just observing that the young guys swimming in the dirty waters in front of the port of Cagliari incredibly never fell sick! The reason of this healthy was a fungi living in the waters, that Brotzu isolated and thank to this finally it was possible to save a lot of lives in the world.

The DNA sculpture is so cool! No doubt it's an hospital. Perhaps studying for genetics? Or a general hospital?
I once suffered from typhoid fever. Thanks to him for the discovery of the antibiotics.
