Good evening and happy sunday to all, how are you? This article of mine today's based on the Priest's Homily again 'coz My Mother and I attended the mass, the first mass for this year 2021 held here to our place though the Priest's dialect's kalibonon, can't understand some of what he says, good thing My Mother and Our Neighbor here translated it for me, lol
First of all, happy 3 kings to all, like i said, this one's based on the Priest's Homily this afternoon, on the mass we attended. Why 3 Kings and what is it? Who's the 3 Kings? Why we had a celebration about it?
We celebrate or have a celebration like that because of the 3 people or astrologer that had visited Our Lord Jesus Christ when He was born in a manger. Ipinagdiriwang natin iyon bilang pag-alaala sa 3 taong nagpunta sa sabsaban nung ipinanganak si Hesu Kristo at bilang paggunita na rin sa kapanganakan Niya.
The 3 Kings were Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, their are not really Kings but an astrologer and that time, the King was Herodes who's looking for Mama Mary and Jesus Christ.
Like i said, the 3 mentioned above's not really a Kings but an astrologer who studied the stars and they wonder about that certain stars and heard a rumor that Jesus Christ was born by the Virgin Mary. They saw a star who brights so light and so shiny and they decided to follow it, it guides them and it stops on a small house, when they entered it, they saw the newly born Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, lumuhod sila at nagdasal at nag-alay ng ginto, pilak at insenso sa bagong silang na si Hesu Kristo. The Homily in the mass says that the 3 people who first saw Jesus Christ was the one who told Him on other people too but not to King Herodes and that Jesus Christ was born not only to save the Jews but all of us and that we should teach the young ones about Him and the Lord God from Above too and to also teach the Bible to them and to help one another as well for helping was the one Jesus Christ taught us aside from helping shows love and caring.
Not sure when will the 3 Kings be, but will greet you in advance and to also remind all of you that helping or sharing is caring and loving and one of the things that Jesus Christ Himself had taught us, to always do good and help the needy and to not ask anything in return in case we help other people, good evening once again, hope you had a good day today, stay safe and stay home, God bless and have a good evening and night to all and remember that God is good, all the time 😊😉😇
