LUKE 4:35 teaches us that our God is the authority and is above all.
God's words are powerful and has authority on anything. Every command will be done and every promise will come true. The reading today shows just how great and powerful are the words of our savior Jesus against the demon inside a human.
In our lives we have our own demons that gives us a hard time to cope with life. Our demons wants us to suffer and wants to break us. We humans are so vulnerable and we are possible to fall victim with the evil's tricks. This is the significance of the reading, that our God is powerful that His words will drive away the demons of our lives easily if we will just believe and surrender. Our God is merciful and is loving, His words are task to be shared all over the world for our brethren to know that His power and glory is meant to shine upon us.
