Business ideas (part 1)
We all have dreamt of having a business of our own don't we? I have talked about business many times before and probably the first time was when I have shared about my crunchy chili garlic in oil business.
Because of the opening of my brother's Korean grocery store and the bazaar thing that I have been to recently which made me reminisce about the time I first experience selling to people (other than family, classmates and friends), I cannot help but to think about my own business as well. I know that it has been my decision to take a break from it but I have been thinking about a lot of stuffs. One of which is on what business to start.
Even before I started with the chili garlic in oil, I really had long wanted to have a business of my own. And you all know that my brother had also long wanted to have a business of his own or their (my brother and sister-in-law) own. They have long decided to think about what business to establish that it was also put on hold until they were able to have it already. Well I am just really hoping that they can branch out to many other areas in the Philippines but I hope they would start first here in the metro. I saw their dedication towards their business venture that made me inspired to do more not just with my chili garlic in oil business but with other business opportunities.
During the time that I have experienced selling in a bazaar, 20% of the booths were selling food and the rest were non-food. But with the bazaar that I went to inside our subdivision recently, it was the opposite that even my mom noticed it as well. But what really caught my attention with the sellers was that they were mostly around their 20s. "Teach them young" right? I forgot the name of the takoyaki stand but with the cold brew coffee I was able to check their social media accounts and if my guess was correct, the owners are also around their 20s.
Are you in your 20s now? How can you describe your life now? Aside from the BCH that you hodl, what are your plans? Do you have a business of your own or would want to have one someday? When do you plan to make it into a reality? If you are not in your 20s already like me, what were you doing when you were around that age? I have mentioned this before that there were a lot of things that I wish I knew when I was in my 20s. I listed less than 10 of those things but I think I forgot to mention about having a business.
The people in their 20s now have their own businesses. They either had a franchised or they built their own business. Take for example the Youtube influencers. You have probably noticed that a lot of these influencers have their own businesses whether merchandise, skincare or food, they already have it. For one content creator, she said that it is not forever that she will do Youtube. The businesses that she had established are her back up plan in case ahe would not do Youtube anymore. I wish I had that kind of thinking when I was in my 20s. I was living the moment when I was around her age that never did it occur to me to think about my future.
I dreamt of having a coffee shop of my own but instead of making a way to achieve it, I was doubtful and full of negativities. Instead of finding a way to save for a capital, I was already telling myself that I needed a huge amount of money in order to have that coffee shop. I am sure that a lot of us would also think of the capital first tehn comes the location or rent and the other expenses. Instead of starting from what we currently have, we are already thinking of the bigger problem.
This pandemic had made a lot of people into an entrepreneurs. I have read or watched some successful stories of people who were laid off from work and started a small business of their own put of the money that they currently have. Some even had a capital of Php5,000 (around $100) and that made them survived during these difficult times. If they have done it, and so can we. If there is a business that you would like to start, what would it be and why?
I have expected this to be long so I am sorry if I will have to cut it from here. I will be sharing some of the businesses that I deemed would be a great investment not just for us Filipinos but also maybe in other countries.

Putting up a business is very challenging for you have to consider a lot of things. You can't just decide a business that isn't in demand in the market. When you want to decide what business you would like to put up, you should consider the pros and cons and strengths and weaknesses of your product. You should foresee your business.
