Yuri is now 7!

Oh, how time really really flies! I could not believe that this pretty human being from my little tummy is now a little lady! I will try to not be too emotional with this article, because flashbacks are now starting to kindle in my mind.

A month ago, Yuri was already nagging and pressuring me about our plans on her upcoming birthday. My siblings and our close relatives had been asking her if she had plans already or did she prepare an invitation just like what she did last Christmas and she would answer, it's my birthday so Mommy and Daddy should be the one preparing it for me😁. Every night from then on before going to bed, she would tell me what would be her dream birthday would be; like a princess and some unicorns!

I could not answer her yet because we were still trying to earn for her dream party but her dress and shoes for her birthday were already delivered🙂. I would then just tell her, don't worry too much, Jac's birthday will come first which was on the 22nd of February only few days before Yuri's. My eldest sister might have felt my pressure and problem with finances, so one night while we were answering Yuri's module, she knocked on our room and said, Yuri I will give you this some for your birthday. Me and Yuri were too shocked because it was more that what I have been budgeting in mind and all I could say was thank you with a bit teary eyed. She said it was Yuri's debut so we should make it memorable, aw the sweetest Ate ever!

Upon hearing it, Yuri already grabbed her pen and paper and write down the foods that she wants on her birthday, the theme, the cake and all. Her list includes; spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, pizza, cake (unicorn and princess), fruit salad, and pansit. She even asked me to open Pinterest and see some inspirations for her dream cake.

On the other hand, Daddy already bought some balloons and other decorations and already made unicorn giveaways. He's a silent doer and I am so touched with it.

Personalized giveaways created with love. Yuri is currently fascinated with unicorn designs and as a very supportive daddy, he made all this while enhancing his skills in pyrography. Going back to the birthday celebrant, after our night of planning, she immediately reported to her Tita the following day about her plans, even showed her dream cake and all. Fast forward, the birthday was fully set and Yuri was very hands-on with every details of her birthday that she would even ask if we have a surprise gift for her. During our grocery time, I told her to pick 7 gifts to be given as raffle items on her birthday. She picked her favorite items and colors; pink picture frame, color pencils, kitchen toys, pink marker, crayons, piggy bank and a pencil case.

Come midnight of March 3, 2022, I removed the tag price of the '7 raffle items', put them in a brown bag and place it our small table decorated with some balloons.

When she woke up in the morning, she immediately asked what's that brown bag in the table. I told her it's her gift! She was hesitant at first but I could feel her excitement especially when Daddy handed it to her. When she opened it she said, these are the raffle items Mommy! It's a prank! There will be no raffle on your birthday, these are all yours baby! I said while hugging and greeting her. She was sooo happy and immediately opened each one and place them in her play area.

The party was a great success, I saw and felt how happy our little debutante was. She could not take off that sweet smile while everyone was greeting and all the attention was on her. The only time she get off from her seat was when she felt that she's hungry😁.

Words are not enough to express my gratitude to all the people who celebrated with us. To the people who showered love and support to make our little princess day super and extra special. It would have not been this successful if not to them.

Most importantly to our Mighty Lord for allowing us to celebrate another milestone of our daughter's life. For the overflowing blessings that He pours upon her ever since she was conceived and I am forever and ever grateful for choosing us to be her parents.
