Valentine's Day 2022

Oh, this time of the year when even a simple smile seems sweeter than the other day, when some people really took time to go out and celebrate with their family, friends and their loves.

So how did I celebrate my Valentine? Please, read😁

Yuri was excited to go down, brought all the bracelets we made last night and gave it to the rightful owners. We have prepared 12 bracelets; she was in-charged in the design and I was the one who just tied them up🙂. She was too excited to see their reactions and oh, that smile when they say thank you to her.

After distribution, we had our breakfast outside. Nothing special, we had to eat quickly because we're afraid the laborers may come early and the house would turn so dusty. So we need to be out from home before they even start working. By 8am, we were geared up to Casa, of course, I brought our snacks so we don't need to buy any😁.

Casa prepared something for Valentine's and we were the first visitors this morning. We were able to enjoy picture taking with the different instagrammable spots they prepared for this heart's day.

Well, our food was really special because these are Yuri and Jac's favorite snacks.

After picture taking, walking by the beach, playing and eating, we decided to go home and hubby said we'll just go back for dinner (a very informal way of inviting us for a dinner date 😁). The kids, especially Yuri was so excited and already have a food in mind. Hubby picked a bougainvillea along the way and gave it to me😁. Forgot to take a photo of it, I was too happy😁😁😁.

4pm, Yuri and I were already preparing for our date when my sister said that her family would also join us for dinner. Sadly, when we reach Casa, my older sister said that they we're already out of stock so we'll just come back tomorrow:(. But my sister and I decided to find another place. (Gusto talagang magdate!)

We went to the nearby restaurant but it was already closed when we got there. We then decided to just go to Vigan as there are a lot of options there. Fast food chains and restaurants were already full and the queues were too long, if you order chicken in Mcdo, it will take you 1 hour to wait. The kids were already complaining that they were hungry, so we ended up buying our dinner at 7/11 and had our dinner at the Lagoon in Vigan City.

It was a nice spot to have a date; so peaceful and the view was romantic. The kids enjoyed their meal and played after. Our original plan may have not been pushed through, but it still ended well and happy. It was our first time celebrating Valentine's day with Yuri and that itself made this day even more special.

Before going to sleep, I asked Yuri if she enjoyed her 1st ever Valentine's day and she said YES! My heart is full!♥️♥️♥️
