Why do we care and more?

***Why do we care?*** *The host asked Mikaela.* *Thank you for that wonderful question. We care because that's how our parents instill in us the value of compassion to our neighbors. We care because we don't want others to be left behind, we don't want them to feel alone and abandoned. We care because we love, and I thank you! Mikaela articulately answered.* Sally, 76 years old, visited Lina's house one Christmas day. Sally was so fascinated how Lina's kids treat each other, how from a simple nipa hut now one of the tallest house in their place. But what impresses her more was how humble these kids are and how they welcome her with smile and so much love. They even offered her snacks. How she wished her kids would be like that too. When her kids have their own family, they no longer treated her right and would not even give her allowance and that she just rely on her senior citizen pension each month. Her children seemed to not care about her and her welfare anymore. Lina's eldest daughter heard her crying went out from her room and gave her Php1,000 or approximately $20. Sally burst into tears because she never expected that she would receive such a huge Christmas gift. Other kids also gave her present. She was so touched with their gestures and from then on, she would visit Lina's family and would bring anything like vegetables, fruits and even chicken as a sign of gratitude for treating her like a family. Fritzy saw her classmate Betty crying outside the canteen because has no money to buy food. She approached her and share her snacks. From then on they become the best of friends! Marcus was on his way to the office when he noticed an old man (Mang Bert) walking on the sidewalk, with just his backpack for. Marcus did not just offered him help but also gave him food to eat and brought him to the proper authorities for immediate attention. Aside from that, Marcus posted the old man's story on his Facebook account to help the old man find his family. His post became trending and after few days, Mang Bert was already reunited with his family. Caring is everywhere. It can be in a form of help; financial, emotional or spiritual. I'm sure all of us have that soft spot in our hearts that easily melts when we see someone who needs it. We just need to be more sensitive of the things or to anyone around us and not just focus on ME, MYSELF AND I. We need each other in order for the world to keep on rolling, rotating. We need to care for each other because it's a great way to show our Almighty that we are good sons and daughters and that we are using His mercy in a good way. Sharing is caring and caring is love. Thus, if we continue to share even our simple words of encouragement every single day we can spread love around the world in an instant. ...^•°... Thanks for dropping by my friends. Keep inspiring. Keep smiling Lead image is mine. #originalcontent.
