No regrets at all!
***If everything will have a rewind, I will still choose to resign and be with my daughter than work and away from her for a long time. ~ bbghitte*** My batch mate during elementary days dropped at our store together with his friend and ordered alcoholic drinka before they'll go home. I asked them to buy pulutan or snacks as accompaniment for their drinks. And while I was preparing their order, he began to reminisce back in the days when we were still schoolmate. He vividly remember how I asked him to water the plants, sweep the floor and how I don't want to share my answers in exams. I was laughing when he was narrating all these when I can't even remember one! But he was thankful that I still have the chance to talk to them and that I am still approachable unlike our other batch mates. Then he asked me, how's my work and when will I go back to Manila. And I told him that I already resigned and chose to stay with my daughter than risk my life being in the city and away from her during pandemic. I told him that in time, when all these subsides, I might still consider to go back to the corporate world but for now, I am staying with my daughter and collect many memories together. He said, it was not practical. Why will I need to let go of my career, I was the class valedictorian, and they look up to me. He added that he never imagined me settling simple life in the province; selling snacks. But I said no I have no regrets resigning. I can always find a job if I want to but I can no longer bring back the time when I can still carry my daughter, that she still clings on me, wants my attention and play with her. These are far more precious than the title and the career. He kept quiet but I can see in his eyes that he don't agree with me. 😊 Some people may question our decisions, they may agree or disagree but as long as we are happy, content and at peace with our own decisions then their opinion don't matter at all. Life is not about career and title all the time there are so much more than that and for me, it's my daughter. I may be financially stable right now but being with her all day everyday makes financial difficulty a minor problem😊. And I am still earning while I'm with her, not as much as what I have earned before but I am more at peace now. Thanks for reading and God bless us all. Keep inspiring. Keep smiling. Do what makes you happy Inday, the older you get you realize money is not everything, you can't buy time with your daughter. Bond and have fun and no regrets.
Yap, no regrets at all😊
There's nothing wrong with choosing to be with our children,I can relate to that. Some people criticizes me that I didn't work even if I have the a capacity to do so.But I always consider my children safe especially this pandemic time,I can't afford to neglect my responsibility as a mother.
They don't understand a mother's feeling I think. Thank you!
We all have our own choices and yours is to be with Yuri. It would have been different if your work is just near your place where you can go home every day. She might not be that close to you had you held on to your job. Hugs and kisses to Yuri. 🤗
I love how you ended it with, *I may be finncially stable right now but being with her all day everyday makes financial difficulty a minor problem.* Ngayon ko lang nalaman na valedictorian ka. 🤩 ako suma..sumasama loob ng magulang sa grades ko. Hahaha. Pero tama no regrets.
hahaha, oo sis may record kami dito sa barangay..
