The Power of Giving 'The more you give, the more you receive' This morning, in a very random event and mood, my daughter Yuri opened her charity box and get 6 20-peso bill and gave it to her 3 cousins; 2 each. When we asked what's the occasion she just answered, nothing, I just feel like sharing some of my charity savings to them. After a while, my sister's parcel arrived and she had a 150 pesos change. Yuri was the one who volunteered to hand it over to her Tita as she was excited what's inside the box. Yuri said, Tita here's your change! And my sister said, that's yours Yuri for carrying the box for me. She smiled so widely and immediately dropped the 150 pesos back to her charity box. ...°•°... In the above story, I am lucky to have such a generous, kind and loving daughter. She created that charity box because she saw it on tv. She really has no clear purpose as to where these funds will go or will be used. Once she said it's for her toys so she can buy new Barbie or kitchen toys, other times she said she will give it to our aunt who regularly accompanies my mother. ...°•°... Rewards can be digital too right? They can come to you in an instant, in a very unexpected time and day. Something that you never even asked and it was given to you freely, surprisingly. Rewards can come in different forms too; they can be tangible and intangible. Like when you donate something to the victims of Odette, people who received your donation will thank you and even include you in their prayers as a sign of gratitude. Never underestimate the power of giving, because in giving you are also working with God. In giving you are not just making someone happy but you are also filling your soul, you are sharing love. But when you give, remember that you should not expect anything in return. It should be out of love, out compassion. When our intentions are pure, our Father in Heaven, Who sees everything that we do will surely reward us. ...°•°... Thanks for reading and God bless us all. Keel smiling. Keep inspiring.
