Don't be discouraged!

Oftentimes we are doomed with our problems, with what's happening in our surroundings, with the issues of the world and for a reason that we could hardly explain. We feel discouraged to move forward, we stopped and start something new again without even thinking twice if it's the right thing to do or not. The thing is, people around us thought that we are just fine, that everything is doing well because our behavior outside is far different from what we are suffering inside.

All of us have a fair share of problems and of triumphs too! Your words and actions may somehow affect a little child, a teenager or an adult without you noticing it. So my friend, never doubt yourself even if your plans sometimes don't coincide with what's actually happening. It's normal, it's common. Not only you experience it, everyone does. It's just that we have our own ways of dealing with them. Remember that you are stronger more than you know, keep going!

Let me share a story of Vina. Vina is a very successful woman. She is one of the director of an outsourcing company. Aside from being a busy career woman, she also loves to help improve their little hometown in the province. She wants their town become one of the tourists destinations in the north. With the help of some friends, they made it possible in just a snap of a finger. I heard a friend once said, 'business kills friendships', which actually applies to what happened to Vina and her friends. Some of her friends with that project got too overwhelmed with the amount of money that has been coming in that they don't want to share anymore. Several talks have been made just to clear things out, to make the operation work, to not make a beautiful project go to waste.

But they misunderstood Vina. Some thought that she only wants to be famous and get all the credit herself. That she wants to have a full control of the said project. But the truth is, Vina is not receiving any single penny from that project. Actually, she shelled-out a lot of money just to make the project possible. She poured not just her time, money and treasure but her heart into it. But they never appreciated it.

Vina felt discouraged and wanted to close the project and would not want to be part of it anymore. Her relationship with some of her friends is affected, greatly affected. But sometimes when you are so down and doomed, God will send angels to lift you up, to show you that what you are doing is right, that not everyone thinks bad about you, that there are more and more people who believes in you and that God will send people who will remind you why you started it anyway. One day, Aiana, Vina's niece approached her while she was too focused sipping her coffee and said, Tita let's go to the beach and clean! There are a lot of trash again, you don't want that right? Vina smiled and hugged Aiana.
