Yap, 'CROWD MENTALITY' and you are reading it right! It's not the usual crab mentality that we used to hear and even see around us.

I heard it last night when I watched the mass online with Father Jerry Orbos. It was part of his homily and it's a very powerful and timely one. He said that we should not focus on what other people say about us, we should focus on what God wants from us. When time comes and we will be given a chance to meet Him personally, we are all by ourselves. No one from the people around us will be there to help us, or even answer for us; just ourselves and God.

Yes, he is so right. We tend to get overwhelmed and worry too much about what our neighbors will say about the way we dress, the people we are with, the person we choose to spend the rest of our lives with, how we raise our children, how we talk and so many more. People have unlimited opinion and we cannot control that. What we can control is how we react to them, how we deal with them, how we take them or how we perceive them. We too are not perfect. We judge people we don't even know that we even made conclusions without even inquiring or knowing what's the story behind their actions.

I remember one time when my mother got too angry with my grandma because of misinformation. The way they relayed the information about why the ATV has been transferred was different from what really happened or the real intention was. When mother asked, why is the ATV here? Someone answered, grandma does not want it being parked in her garden. She was too affected that without even asking my lola why did or say those words, she just confronted her. Eventually she realized that her actions were too much for what really my grandma's intention was. Because the reason why she does not want the ATV in her garden because it hinders and blocks the way of the kids who were playing around. She was afraid that it might cause accident.

Crowd Mentality must be avoided and we should not be part of that crowd. It's better to be alone than being surrounded with toxic people. It's not healthy, it's not wise.

Stop talking about other people's lives that you could no longer distinguish which one is true or not.

Stop judging other people. We have our own flaws, no one is perfect.

What we must do is be more compassionate, be more understanding and be more loving.

Let us be the first to spread good news, good vibes not the otherwise.

Let us be the reason why someone smile, not the reason why they are afraid to go out and be themselves.

Let's stop crowd mentality at once and focus on what God wants us to be.

Thanks for reading and God bless us all.

Keep smiling. Keep inspiring.
