Baluarte Trip
Last Wednesday, my sister and her husband invited us to join them in Baluarte and without second thoughts, we said yes!! Yuri and Jac immediately prepared their things and by 2pm they were both ready. It's Jac's first visit at the zoo and he was super excited to finally meet and greet the different animals that are taken cared of in Baluarte.
So let's have a quick tour inside Baluarte and share with you the animals that we encountered and take a picture of:
First animal that captured our attention just before we reach the zoo's entrance is this camel. Jac and Yuri were shouting 'camel!, camel!' but this one was a little snob and just focused on eating.
This small signage will greet you. Now, let's go inside!
Because of the many additions, like the encounter with the giraffes, lions and tigers aside from the gallery tour, a new price has been added. Admission is FREE but if you want to see all the animals inside then, there's a different fee for it.

You can meet this pretty two-colored bird near the cashier's area. I don't know what its called tho😁.
First stop, picture taking with these ostrich.
Just in front of these ostrich was this little pony and some deers. You can see deers all over Baluarte, they are roaming around🙂.
Just before you reach Baluarte gallery, you will see these group of lionesses. First time seeing one in person, I think they were not yet there during my 1st Baluarte visit.
There are a lot of preserved animals like rhino, elephant, bears, and many more in the gallery or also known as the taxidermy museum. These were hunted and imported by the owner Chavit Singson.
White lions were spotted but sad to say they stayed on their cage during our tour
Just beside the white lion's cage is the den of the tigers. This one was sleeping and we could not stay a little longer because Yuri said it does not smell good.
Then we passed by to these Nyala cages. They were busy eating at that time.
These were the Blesbok, another type of dear. They were hanging under this java plum.
The most exciting part of our Safari adventure was the close encounter and feeding of these gentle giants. Their huge tongue might scare you a bit but they were too harmless and they could eat all the leaves that you feed them in an instant. My nephew on the picture was too brave to get close and feed them.
Peacocks seemed doubled/tripled their number from my last visit. Some were even flaunting their lovely feathers.
Passed by to this crocs, that was just silently observing people around it.
We also looked on the pythons. It looked pregnant and I think she already laid some eggs.
Our last stop was running around these giant dinosaurs.

That's it for our Safari adventure. Til next time!
