Butterflies are among the most amazing and diverse creatures on earth. They are born in an egg, hooked to or under a leaf, grow into a caterpillar, feed on leaves or other tiny insects to cocoon themselves into a pupa and emerge as a beautiful butterfly. After a few minutes, their crumpled wings dry and are ready to fly. Butterflies are far more numerous than their day cousins. It is estimated that about two hundred species of diurnal and three thousand nocturnal butterflies live in Croatia. Butterflies are usually much larger in structure, but they are not as spectacular in color and variety of patterns as butterflies. Butterfly behavior is unlimited. Some butterflies will open their wings wide when sitting on a flower, for additional heating, while some other species will just land and fly away in an instant. Some species occupy a certain territory and defend it from other butterflies, while others only fly routes known to them. Some butterflies do not fly in cloudy weather at all while others avoid the sun as much as possible. Some butterflies adore the forest while others live only in meadows. Ovih predhodnih dana, puno hrane , čestitki.....Eto ja sam pronašla fotku od ljeta, kada sam uređivala vrt...... Slučajno mi je sletio na ruku, bila sam iznenađena...... Leptiri spadaju u najnevjerojatnija i najraznolikija stvorenja na zemlji.Rađaju se u jajetu, zakvačeni za ili ispod nekog lista, izrastaju u gusjenicu, hraneći se lišćem ili drugim sitnim kukcima da bi se začahurili u kukuljicu i izašli kao prekrasan leptir. Nakon par minuta njihova zgužvana krila se osuše i spremna su za let. Noćni leptiri su daleko brojniji od svojih dnevnih rođaka. Procjenjuje se da u Hrvatskoj obitava dvjestotinjak vrsta dnevnih i tri tisuće noćnih leptira. Noćni leptiri su obično po svojoj građi puno veći međutim po bojama i raznolikosti šara nisu toliko spektakularni kao dnevni leptiri. Ponašanje leptira je neograničeno. Neki leptiri će prilikom sjedenja na cvijetu širom otvoriti svoja krila, radi dodatnog grijanja dok će neke druge vrste samo sletjeti i u tili čas odletjeti dalje. Neke vrste zauzmu određeni teritorij i brane ga od drugih leptira, dok drugi samo lete njima poznatim trasama. Neki leptiri uopće ne lete po oblačnom vremenu dok drugi izbjegavaju sunce koliko got je to moguće. Neki leptiri obožavaju šumu dok drugi žive samo na livadama. Ugodan dan svima koliko vas ima.
