Today, I woke up around let’s say 7am, I picked up my noise.cash phone and I first of all checked my earnings haha. Well I saw a few dollars so I went on to check posts of the people I subscribed to and I made some comments on the ones that interest me.
I posted an article on a channel and it didn’t get approved, I was sad because I wanted to share my previous article I wrote here on read cash on there. So I was sad when I saw that my post have not been approved.
Well, I concluded that when a door refuses to be opened for you, you should either stay at you home or looks for another door.
So I decided to say at home by posting on my own timeline.
I later proceeded to check my read.cash account which seems to be doing fine.
I so much appreciate my subscribers and my readers for their support on my previous article and special thanks to the rewarder too, he made me smile. Haha.
After sometime, I was very hungry so I went to buy some coaster biscuits at a very close retailer off my house close. As at about 10am I started writing this very article.
I’m about to make something to eat so I will explain everything on how to cook my proposed meal.
I’m planning on cooking a popular Nigerian meal, Yorubas like me call it “Ila Alasepo” with a follow up swallow called “eba”.
It’s simply okra cooked together with pepper and all you want to put in it with cassava flakes made with boiling water haha.
As at the time of this writing, I’m presently trying to convert some of my earnings so I can be able to buy the things I need to cook my Ila Alasepo. I use Binance for my conversation to fiat currency and it’s reliable and secure but I have to first of all convert my BCH to BNB so I can be able to sell and get Fiat. So I had a successful transaction and I’m at the POS stand to collect my fiat.
I’m heading out now to go get the ingredients to cook my lovely meal. I didn’t tell you that okra is my best vegetable, oh haha now you know.
That’s the beautiful street where I stay. I first of all went to my friend place so I can charge the power banks. We haven’t had light for about 3 weeks and I have been moving up and down to make sure that my working devices are on. Sadly he hasn’t put in the generator so I would either have to wait or plug it down and expect it to charge when he finally put on the generator.
I’m at the vegetable seller’s place as you can see in the pictures below.
I could only buy okra, even though I planned to buy okra, pepper and onions. The owner of the place was not around so the person she kept there was in an hurry to go somewhere so I decided to buy only okra do I wouldn’t delay her.
After buying the okra, while still unable to buy the pepper and onions, I headed on to buy the other things I need.
I went to another seller that sells cassava flakes. The seller was really nice to me, he saw that I was taking pictures and he told me to wait so he can dress the flakes to look good on camera. You would know that he is a good person with great marketing skills who loves his Job.
So, after I left this place, I went to buy the pepper at another pepper seller. I also went to the frozen food store to buy fish.
I bought just a piece popular fish called Shawa and the seller divided it into four.
I later decided to buy fuel in the generator, remember I said that we haven’t had light for about 3 weeks now and my friend’a generator is not on too. So I had to get some funds to go buy the fuel.
Presently I’m back at home and I have already made all preparations for the meal.
Below are the pictures of all the preparations I have made.
I diced the okra but sadly a lot of the okra wasn’t good. Some people blend the okra with a blender but I diced it with a knife . The advantage of dicing is that you can identify the bad one and throw them away. When you blend you would both blend the bad and good ones which I feel aren’t so cool.
The next phase of my day is to cook the food.
The making of this meal can be divided into two.
The soup making (Ila Alasepo)
The swallow making (Eba)
Soup making (Ila-Alasepo)
I first of all boiled the fish with seasoning for about 10 minutes. I scooped like two spoons of grounded pepper, I added palm oil and there is a particular substance we add to make the okra soften which is called potash (potassium carbonate) which I also added.
I allowed it to cook for about 20 minutes and the soup is ready.
The swallow making (Eba)
I boiled water for about 20 minutes and I poured it in the cassava flakes. I turn the fakes till it’s smooth.
Bam 💥 the flakes is ready
This is the end result of my toil today.
This is the summary of how I spent my day.
Tell me how did your day go?
Ah so this is you! Love the okra!
