Lighthouse Veli Rat ( Croatia )

The imposing lighthouse is located on the northwestern tip of Dugi otok, near Veli Rat.

It was built in 1849, is 42 meters high and is today the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic. He owes his strikingness to the yellow façade, in which, according to oral tradition, 100 000 yolks were consumed. In the courtyard of the lighthouse is the chapel of St. Peter. Nikola, all the most sought-after place for the organization of romantic weddings, and the lighthouse offers apartment accommodation.
