The energy value of a litre of beer corresponds to the energy value of a litre of whole milk
Beer is one of the most popular alcoholic beverages that is nevertheless treated as a food product. It's actually consumed in every country in the world. You drink at every opportunity. But while it is almost sacrilegia for us to drink beer with fish, it is quite common in Belgium, Germany and England where fish are eaten much more often than with us. When you drink a lot of beer, it's easier to drink pint. But connoisseurs claim it's still a much tastier beer from a bottle.
Beer actually means a low alcoholic drink produced in the process of alcoholic boiling from malt, hops, water and beer yeast. Water is the main part of the potion. The sweet is obtained from cereals, most often from barm and gives beer the ingredients of the extract on which the fullness of the taste and concentration of the basic extract depends. Hops caner beer and gives it a pleasant smell and bitter taste, while brewer's yeast induces an alcoholic boil in which sugar passes into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Beer is a completely natural and biologically balanced product and is rightly considered to be "liquid food". The energy value of a litre of standard beer corresponds to the energy value of a litre of whole milk. Although beer has probably been consumed on our premises since ancient times, the first famous brewery was founded in 1721 in Zagreb's Gornji Grad. The old town brewery, on the area of today's Basariček street, was the first registered company to produce beer in Croatia.
