Today is Hari Raya, so first of all would like to wish all Muslim friends here a Selamat Hari Raya Aidifitri.
This year is not a happening raya for our Muslim brothers, as many restrictions imposed on people movement especially crossing states to back kampung(villages) for celebration. Hope they do find other good way to celebrate this festive.
For me, it's a normal sunday so we planned to do our grocery together buy lunch when we back home.
If you observant enough, in supermarket itself, there are many interesting stuff being marketed.
For instance, today I saw this creative product: Potato chip with favour of egg prata in a fish curry ,
Wow wouldn't it be too specific to Egg Prata , and need to be in Fish Curry favour ?
I found it super interesting .
Then i found similar products next to it :
Hainan rice chicken rice favour chip??
Beef Rendang Chip??
The chip maker is having a slogan of making our daily local food into chip.. so it wouldn't surprise soon we have Bak Kut Teh Chip, Briyani Chip, Ayam Penyet Chip....
There is this product collaboration between the Pocky with a famous franchise coffee shop - Ya Kun Coffee.
This product I find it still acceptable compared to latters..
What say you ? would you pay higher for this food combination ?
Note: the chip selling at S$3, compared to normal chip around S$2.
Interesting. Never saw that beef rendang chips. Does it taste the same? I guess we won't be able to taste the gravy taste of rendang from a chips. Can we?
