Taming Your Insecurities

*Hello! This is @aquariyoursxx again. Before I'll start my content, I would like to promote* *Get Sponsored!**, if you want to get sponsored by the moderator, Ashma, feel free to join the growing community. You can also join a week-long contest he is hosting right now.* https://read.cash/c/get-sponsored-2a0b Insecurity is an uncertainty in one's self that everybody has to deal with everyday in their lives. Some people may have their daily life affected by this feeling, but some also don't. But whether this affecys you dail or not, insecurities should be tamed. I have read articles and listened to podcasts for basis and research but there is only one source that I think will work for the majority of us. This idea is inspired by a Filipino podcast in Spotify, Walwal Sesh. (*A thing or two will be from the said podcast.*) https://open.spotify.com/show/3mdHxRGkuPZObKdmi33DWg?si=U2difbtZRayVbo_szRbPKQ Insecurities differ in forms. It could be in your body, your face, your voice, in your workplace, your intelligence and many more! Thinking about all those insecurities got me thinking how this will suit so much to all of it. 1. Think about how you got to where you are right now. If you're insecure about your competence, your intelligence, your accomplishments and anything that relates to feeling so little of yourself. Think about how you got there. If you're around successful people, think about how you became part of that group. Remember that ***you won't be where you are if it's not for you... you wont have it if you're not worthy of having it.*** 2. Do something to improve yourself. Let's say you're insecure of your body. You're too thin or too fat for your own liking. Then do something. Start exercising. Start your diet plan. If you're insecure of your skin color and you just can't accept it no matter what you do, then consult doctors, or research about it. As long as you're doing something to impove, then that'll be okay. Think of your hard work and effort, then tell yourself you'll be better. 3. Accept that not even a thing or person is perfect. This last statement might be something you always hear but it is what it is. No one, even your most loved idol is perfect. They may seem perfect but they also have their struggles and insecurities. They're also battling with something they can't see. And you should too. I know all what I said or written is "easier said than done" but taming your insecurities takes time. I have been living with it for 18 years already, just recently that I'm able to tell myself and pat my shoulders that "*it's okay, it's part of life, you're doing great, you're making improvements*". ***This article wont help you get rid of your insecurity because it wont.*** It will never leave unless you can't feel anything already. Too cliché, but **YOU ARE WORTHY**. So that's it. I hope you felt better after reading this article. I hope you got to learn from it and helped you. I would like to thank @Ashma for creating the community and contest I mentioned above. Also to @dexter , @Bestie and @scottcbusiness foe sponsoring me. Thank you so much for your help.
