Panutsa is a famous delicacy here in Batangas. It is a flat disk of crystallized, dark brown sugar that is studded with peanuts.
And because of this panutsa, I was able to travel from Batangas to Tagaytay - alone - in indoor clothes - haggard - in short I'm not ready in this accidental trip. And here's why.
Early in the morning, my mother went back to Cavite for her work. But she forgot to bring "panutsa" as her treat to her co-workers who are craving for it. So she asked me to meet her so she could take those panutsa.
BUT I thought she would meet me near our place which is 15 mins away. But it's not. It's in Tagaytay! It's a 2 hrs away travel oh gosh. I HAVE TEST TOMORROW MA! I felt like I would fail my exam that day but at the same time, I'm super excited since I'm traveling alone and Tagaytay has always a special spot on my list.
Two hours had passed, I saw my mother waiting for me. She laughed so hard when she saw me - just in my jogging pants + slippers + indoor shirt - in short, haggard look.
Then she asked me if I still want to join her to Cavite since it's just 30mins-1hr ride from there. My "galang" self can't take it anymore. I give in to temptation. I accompanied her and said to myself "Magpupuyat nalang ulit ako para sa test."
I really have a traveler's heart and soul. I really like going to places especially with nature! And that's my weakness. "Isang tara lang, sasama na agad ako"
Here are some of my solo shots wandering through the beauty of Tagaytay.
