In the last article I talked about superposition, the ability of a particle like atom or electron to be present at more than one place simultaneously. It had been proved in the lab but as to why it is happening has not been understood and explained.
Now if we take a pair of electron that has been together for some time and separate them, then if we separate them by a long distance, then also they remain entangled and behave similarly. It is like twin brothers living on two different cities, if one raises his left hand then the other will also simultaneously raise his left hand. Though this was just an example but in the sub atomic world this is a reality. For this subatomic communication to happen speed of light is not a factor. We know that as per our understanding nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, but in this case it is a reality.
A lab experiment was conducted where a photon was subdivided into two sub photons by polarization technique (this happens with your polarized sun glasses also). Each part was kept separate but their actions were similar and simultaneous. Now even if the two sub photons are kept at two end of the universe then also they would behave the same way. How does this communication take place even at a speed faster than that of light? This was called quantum entanglement.
Einstein did not approve of this interpretation as nothing can travel faster than light and called it ‘spooky action at a distance’.
Strange things are happening in the quantum world and we don’t have any explanation to it. There is a lot more to quantum entanglement and it is far more complex but for the sake of explaining it has been kept simple here. It seems the fundamental laws of nature break down at quantum level. It requires further investigation at scientific level.
At philosophical level there have been some explanations and a somewhat similar experience has been written in the book ‘The autobiography of a Yogi’ by the author.
Really it's good information my knowledge about distance is gained when I read this
