✐ɪᴛ's ғᴀɴᴀʀᴛ: Ursula's early days with one of her early babes

Flotsam and Jetsam come later in time, but I can't tell you when they met, canonically. Maybe their meeting was shown in The Little Mermaid cartoon series, but Ursula was already old then. And the legitimacy of the series can be questioned.

Well, her mouth is Ursula's mouth, but someone once told me she looks like Kirstie Alley.

Me neither. The only reason I designed this character is because I rewrote The Little Mermaid 2 to be about Ariel's daughter and Ursula's son (who I also made up), opposed to her sister.

I don't think Ursula was ever striving for love, when looking at the original movie, so I don't think it would've "cured her evil". I always assumed that the way she behaved was normal for her species and that octopids and merpeople are natural enemies of each other. Being in a relationship wouldn't have made her reconsider her wish of becoming the ruler of the seas, I'm pretty sure.

If I am not mistaken, there is somewhere in the story mentioned that Ursula supposed to be the Queen or something like she is King Neptune sister? I wonder how that could be.

Disney originally wanted to make Ursula Triton's sister, yes, but this idea was scrapped.

Concerning her place as queen, in our dub of the movie it's made clear that Ursula used to be ruler of the sea, but in the original/English version, her words can be interpret that she merely lived in the palace as Triton's assistant or something of the sort.

Interesting. They do have many sequences and if I go through it in details, it is a bit confusing sometimes. I also once heard that Ursula is jealous of King Triton wife.

Never heard of that last one. Must be part of another interpretation of the story. I know there's a musical and a book.

I have not watchbthe movie for a while. After my car problem is settle and my house is finish, I will be having more time for myself.

A story worth considering if she mentioned it in the movie, but the only reason she gave for her animosity was the loss of the palace, which was apparently hers at one point.

Considering these two, they were very much in love at the beginning, but Ursula lost her good looks and was too flamboyant for him and he too serious for her. They started to annoy each other.

I do thinks at some point the ocean was darker than before the ruling of triton (if we take prehistoric age where there were sea dinos and stuff) but who knows. But i do like the idea of them separating ways because of differences and not of death
