1750 people visit in a single day to get a rental flat

In The German capital Berlin, the rents for accommodations are so high that if a suitable rental flat comes up, hundreds of candidates are there to get it.

One such incident occurred on November 24, when 1749 people reached the spot on the same day to see a flat. The flat was offered for rent a day earlier.

Located on the third floor of a 1950s building in Schonberg Town Hall, this flat has a 54-meter-usable space.

This place includes 2 rooms and a balcony. The rent for this flat is 550 euros or $610 a month. This rent includes additional costs such as water and heating costs.

The street in front of the flat building was witnessing a local gathering on November 24.

To keep so many people organized, the state agency representative was giving instructions on the megaphone. The state agency was allowing 20 people to see the flat for a short time at a time.

Property manager Ralph Hermes told German reporters that he had received a lot of requests, of which 1800 people were invited to visit the flat. They have not already invited a flat owner or high-income people to see the flat.

Soon, they will choose the person who gets the flat rented after reviewing all the applications, Ralph said.
