In the center of the forest, in the UNESCO Huilo Huilo Biosphere Reserve in Chile, there is a unique hotel covered with moss and vines - La Montaña Mágica or the Magic Mountain. This fairytale hotel was built inside an artificial volcano from which water erupts instead of lava, and it is positioned so that the rooms have a view of a real volcano - Arenal. La Montaña Mágica is certainly a hotel that provides a unique experience and adventure. Anyone wishing to spend the night (or more) in one of the 13 rooms must walk to the hotel through the woods and then cross a wobbly bridge held only by planks and ropes. One night in the Magic Mountain costs between 180 and 300 Euros.
Additional activities that La Montaña Mágica offers are wild mini golf, where holes are an integral part of the natural terrain, the longest zip-line in South America (descending a steel cable), exploring the forest and wilderness, long walks, and after a hard day, guests they can also relax in unique tubs made of trees. In addition, in the vicinity of the hotel live and cute pudú - the smallest species of deer in the world, only 30 cm tall.
This hotel looks really beautiful, like a castle at some point. I would love to go there someday.
