Food adulteration in Bangladesh

Today i am going share another important article. I think you already read my article title and know about that.

First of all you know that what is adulterated food:

Adulteration  is a legal term meaning that a food product fails to meet the legal standards. One form of adulteration is an addition of another substance to a food item in order to increase the quantity of the food item in raw form or prepared form, which may result in the loss of actual quality of food item.

I think now you got it. What is food adulteration.

It a real wonder that people in our country are not dying in scores eating what we call food.

There is hardly any food items from fish to meat, vegetables to milk, biscuits to chocolates that is not adulterated in one way or another.

Recently we have come to know from the newspaper reports that a whole variety of adulterated foods are getting caught by the mobile courts across the country.

Newspaper reports have also brought to light the magnitude of adulterated food items. The mobile courts are actively operating their inspections and punishing and fining almost all the hotel managers for using unsafe food ingredients and keeping their kitchens unhygienic.

The mobile courts have also caught the restaurant people red-handed for using chemicals and artificial colours which are usually used in dying cloths in their food items.

The mobile courts are formed by the Home Ministry following newspaper reports on adulterated food. Substandard and unhygienic foodstuffs are being sold in most of the hotels and restaurants And indiscriminately.

As a result of eating stale and unsafe food, people are suffering from serious diseases including diarrhoea and dysentery all the year round.

The dishonest unscrupulous businessmen and the hoteliers are not maintaining the rules of Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute (BSTI) and continue sell food unfit for human consumption.

We, the general consumers, ask for fresh `food for our safety. Home Ministry deserves thanks for its initiative.

But we hope that the BSTI will be made active and do what it is supposed to do and make sure that the consumers get at least safe food. It is our right as citizens of the country to get pure and safe food.

We should be increase awareness about the negative effects of food adulteration. It’s an important message that for food adulteration a man can die.

So we need to take fresh and safe food for our good health. But i know nowadays it’s really impossible to get safe food.

Because food adulteration are going on all the food and some dishonest man Responsible for that.

The government of our country should take proper steps to stop food adulteration. The government will have to make strict laws to stop food adulteration. Not just by making laws. The law must be properly enforced.

BSTI and mobile court employees must be free from corruption.

I think one day food adulteration are no more in our country.
