Grilled Tuna

Good day, I hope everyone is okay and healthy. Today, I will share to you my own version of grilled tuna. But before that, let's us learn about Tuna.

TUNA also called tunny. One of the seven species of oceanic fishes. Tuna can maintain their body temperature between 5 and 12 °C (9 and 22.7 °F) above ambient water temperature. They have a rounded body, slender tail and colour of dark above with silvery shinny below.

Let's now start the cooking process of grilled tuna. First, marinate the tuna with salt, ground pepper, thyme and a little calamansi. Marinate for 30 minutes so it will absorb the flavor. Because I dont have a charcoal I used our griller pan. Preheat the pan for 5mins and add the marinated tuna. Cook for about 10min on both sides. Then its ready to eat. Just prepare your own dipping sauce with chilly.

Hi Alice,

What benefits can we get from eating tuna?

Does eating too much tuna, have health risk also? If not mistaken, it has mercury content. So if that's the case, we may assume that by large amount, it may not be safe.

And who are those should not eat tuna?

Good question khrince,

Of course eating too much tuna is unhealthy so take it moderately.

Eating tuna has an amazing health benefits like lower cholesterol, improves immune system, reduce blood pressure because it has omega 3fat that mean it can lower heart attack, it prevent cell membrane damage and many more.
