Congrats I am so proud of you

Blog:236-2nd Date :April 08,2023 Time :04:28pm I am so blessed to have an intelligent and very kind daughter. She is one of the people who know me better. She even knows me better than my husband knows me.

Las Sunday was their 3rd and last quarter recognition before their finals in May. My daughter is consistent honor in their classroom from 1st grading till the 3rd grading. I am happy that she studied so hard to achieve her award every quarter. Since we don't usually have a celebration every time she gets the reward I decided to make a simple celebration for her last Sunday. The event started with a meeting around 1:30 pm. It tackles the schedule of the final exams, some school projects, etc. Then the awarding begins from Grade 7. Each grade has two sections so it takes a while before it has finally done. After my daughter's name was called I ask her if we could go out for a while and buy something to drink. We headed to the nearest convenience store and bought some water and Ice cream. Ice cream is perfect for the hot weather. After we bought, we headed to their classroom and waited for their teacher so we could finally see the report cards of our students. They said we are not allowed to bring the report card anymore so we just took pictures of it. Finally, their teacher arrived and we fall in line so we can see the report card and sign for our attendance. After attending the said school event we headed to the public market to withdraw some money so we can buy mango and milk for our mango shake. Hubby told me to buy milktea for my daughter as a reward but I told him I better buy mango and milk so we can a mango shake. We can save that way and we can enjoy more mango shakes than having an expensive milktea. We arrived home around 4 pm. I prepared the ingredients for the mango shake and made it right away. Since I bought 3 mangoes, we had more mango shakes that we shared with my neighbors. Since I bought one box of Pancake mix a day before the said school event, I cooked it before I leave the house so we can eat it when we arrive from school. I also share some pancakes with our neighbors. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the mango shake and the pancakes as it slip into my mind to take pictures as we enjoyed the food we had.

**Ending thoughts** It was indeed a great Sunday for us and we are all happy about the award that my daughter received. I am proud of my daughter coz she never makes me feel stressed with her school matters. She always tries her best to be a good daughter. Anyway, before I forgot I also got a letter from my daughter. I was touched by her letter. She knows all the hard work I've done just to let her study in a private school.
