Meet Keith Patrick, apes.cash project manager & a staunch Bitcoin Cash supporter
The Bitcoin Cash community is full of prominent people, people who in their own way carry out actions that enhance the network itself as well as the expansion, adoption of it as payment for products and services.
The man I will highlight in the article is also a prominent figure in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, he, who began his adventure in the crypto space in 2013, has led projects created and managed on top of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. Today I will highlight Keith Patrick, this irreverent figure who has long been involved in the Bitcoin Cash space.
Many newcomers to the Bitcoin Cash community are sure to know Keith Patrick from the Non-fugible token (NFT) apes.cash project, but this unmistakable figure has long been prominent in the crypto world and particularly in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. I particularly know Keith Patrick virtually when listing some SLP projects on Altilly.exchange, this centralised platform that was one of the pioneers in the listing of Simple ledger protocol (SLP) tokens and Patrick was already involved with the Bitcoin Cash community (honk project, if not I'm wrong), one of the great advantages of Altilly.Exchange, now defunct, was that it didn't need a Know You Customer (KYC policy) for the user to make withdrawals of up to five thousand dollars worth in crypto a day.
Keith Patrick
Keith Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in International economics from the Colorado State University-Pueblo, a North American educational institution, right now he lives in Guadalajara, Mexico. As I mentioned above, Keith entered the crypto world in 2013 where he was dedicated to trading Bitcoin Core (BTC) on platforms such as Paxful, and localbitcoins, but because of the KYC policy that he is not adept of, he abandoned this activity dedicating himself to crypto project management for private clients since 2015.
Bachelor's degree International Economics,
Keith continued his crypto activity in the Bitcoin Cash community where he dedicated himself, for example, to managing projects such as honkhonk token in partnership with some collaborators. HonkHonk, at the time an SLP token created on top of Bitcoin Cash was traded both on the defunct altilly.exchange, a very friendly platform for projects created on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, but the brokerage was hacked and had to stop trading and memo.cash, in decentralized manner.
Participation in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem
In addition to participating in the honk token, Patrick has also excelled in many more projects! He was the co-founder of the crowdfunding platform fundme.cash, where people could create campaigns and seek Bitcoin Cash funding. Donors could support certain funding campaigns and allow, for example, ordinary people to manage their dreams using Bitcoin Cash as the main source of donation.
The platform was successful but unfortunately it was rebranded to sponsors.cash and is no longer viable, I know this because I conducted a campaign on the platform when funding my small project Casa Bitcoin Cash-Moçambique which was fully funded using fundme.cash in 2020. Continuing, Keith Patrick has also been actively participating in Bitcoin Cash Node as an individual sponsor having even his name highlighted on the website as a sponsor along with more big names in the Bitcoin Cash community.
He has also recently dedicated his time to his most recent project, the apes.cash which is an NFT ecosystem where apes holders can sell and buy them in a dedicated marketplace, it has a stake project (being builded, where each NFT will be able to generate Banana tokens for its hodler), a marketplace, launched already where holders can also use their apes to print t-shirts, hats, scarves or all clothing and be delivered directly to the holder's residence through shipment.
In addition to this, Keith Patrick is also preparing a project where users will use Bitcoin Cash to place decentralized bets, the project is called bookmaker.cash and will soon be launched.
Summary,
Early on I said that the Bitcoin Cash community is very large and I was serious about it. Today we cannot see these figures because many of them are behind Bitcoin Cash, many are developers, programmers, lead projects that were created on top of Bitcoin Cash etc, but it is always necessary to remember these figures because only then will newbies in the Bitcoin Cash community be able to know who they are and follow their path.
Keith Patrick, for example, began a long time ago to work with projects created on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, he gave his effort so that Simple ledger protocol tokens could be listed, for example, on platforms such as altilly.exchange and thus make known to the world that the Bitcoin Cash's blockchain has this function of issuing tokens and they can also be traded like another digital asset.
I like to see these prominent figures immortalized, this is because they in being mode do a lot for Bitcoin Cash being in the dissemination, diffusion of the currency, adoption or even promotion of Bitcoin Cash. Developers are working behind Bitcoin Cash to make the network perform excellently and be a pioneer in the Peer-to-peer electronic cash payment system. I just want to say to Keith Patrick and the other influencers who are in the community to keep working for the adoption and expansion of Bitcoin Cash in the world, because the currency deserves it.
