Meet Joemar Taganna, Dev building on top of Bitcoin Cash & CEO of Paytaca wallet
In my articles dedicated to prominent Bitcoin Cash figures I have already written about influential people in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem around the world, figures who are in Australia, Argentina, Japan, China, the United States of America and others, but this will be the first time that I highlight a great figure who is in the Philippines.
Philippines has one of the largest Bitcoin Cash communities at least here on read.cash and also on noise.cash and it makes sense to focus some attention on this territory, with the exception of one of its most famous figures of the moment, Joemar Taganna.
Joemar Taganna is a software developer who has long been working for Bitcoin Cash, building applications and also maintaining a token, spice, in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. In addition, he has been a contributor to many projects both on the Bitcoin Cash mainnet and on SmartBCH, where the Apes.Cash project he carries out with Keith Patrick, a name that is not unknown in the Bitcoin Cash space, stands out.
Joemar Taganna
Joemar Taganna is native of the Philippines, a country located in Southeast Asia, mostly an archipelago territory with more than 7500 islands. It shares borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Palau to the east and Southeast, Indonesia to the south, Malaysia to the southeast, Vietnam to the west and finally China to the northwest. Therefore, as we can see, the Philippines is a country with many borders, which also provides its immense multi-ethnicity.
It is a country with more than 100 million inhabitants, being the thirteenth most populous country in the world where its capital is Manila.
Joemar Taganna was born in this beautiful country in Southeast Asia where he graduated from the University of Gent, Belgium in philosophy (PHD), he is a full-fledged developer and has experience in: cloud engineer, computational biologist, full stack developer and others , Joemar has more than 10 years of experience as a programmer. In his resume he also combines work experience for data analysis companies and research institutions.
Joemar Taganna has always enjoyed working for companies where they capitalize on their research and technology to build tools that are based on helping to change people's lives for the better, and it's no wonder why he got involved with Bitcoin Cash as this community has as a of the fundamentals to supply a product (Bitcoin Cash) that is available to everyone.
Active participation in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem
As I mentioned at the beginning of the article Joemar Taganna is a dev building on top of Bitcoin Cash, he is the lead developer of the spice token as well as the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the Paytaca wallet. In addition, he has participations and contributions to projects on both the Bitcoin Cash mainnet and the Bitcoin Cash smart network, smartBCH.
His involvement in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem is huge and lately he has been working hard to develop projects like spice NFT, where he allows his holders to use their non-fugible tokens to generate spice tokens. The spice token that was first found with SLP (Simple Ledger Protocol) today can be found as a product of the SmartBCH side-chain.
It has also been working to create a staking mechanism for the project that it has in conjunction with Keith Patrick, Apes.cash, in a timely manner, where it will provide its investor users with a marketplace where they can use their Apes NFT to produce merchandise and ship to recipients. In addition, he will also highlight a new product, the banana token that will be produced when the Apes NFT stake. For more information about Joemar Taganna's work on the Apes project, visit the website and see its complete roadmap.
One of its products that is already on the market, the Paytaca wallet is a market innovation where, in addition to being able to store, send and receive Bitcoin Cash, it can also receive and send SmartBCH tokens and non-fugible tokens. The wallet besides support for SmartBCH side-chain tokens, also can support SLP NFTs which is a great addition to it's convenience in just one space.
