How to Bridge BNB from Binance smart chain (BSC) to SmartBCH - tutorial (2)

Bolivar Bridge is a product by BlockNG in partnership with MistSwapDEX that allows users to transfer value from the Binance smart chain (BSC) ecosystem to the Bitcoin Cash smart network, the SmartBCH, and vice versa.

The bridge allows investment to continue going in and out of SmartBCH in an easy and practical way but, as it is still little known, it is necessary to explain how it works and thus ensure that a majority of people understand the process. Next, I will explain how the process happens using in the example, the transfer of BNB currency to SmartBCH.

It is necessary to realize that for the process to be easy and secure, the user must use the same wallet address in both ecosystems, using the same seed phrase that will make the two chains have the same address, making everything much more practical and smooth.

First, the user need to choose the swap direction, in this case the transfer will be from the Binance smart chain network to the SmartBCH, as shown in the figure below.

In the next step, the user must choose the exact amount that he wants to transfer to the SmartBCH and, in the case that I use as an example, the wallet address is connected to the side-chain so I will have to change it to the Binace Smart chain as illustrated in the figures.

After defining the BNB amount to be transferred to SmartBCH, it is necessary to confirm the amount in the wallet and pay the appropriate fees charged by the blockchain.

Next, comes a very important step in the Bridge process, as the user will be provided, after payment of the transaction execution fees on the blockchain, a hash that must be copied and entered in a dedicated space for the transfer to SmartBCH to take effect successfully.

Remember that the Bolivar Bridge swap process is not automatic, so the user has to make a manual claim from one chain to another as shown in the figures.

The claim process is simple and fast, as soon as it confirmed the transaction in the wallet, the corresponding amount will be deposited immediately on the SmartBCH address where can also, for security reasons, check the swap in the dedicated Telegram Bot .

Notes

Bolivar Bridge does not charge swap fees, the only amounts charged refer to blockchain fees where the user must have some BNB that will be used as Gas in the transactions he intends to carry out.

By ticking the "Need Gas" box, the user pays 0.01 BNB as a fee to cross-chain and the Bolívar Bridge team provides 0.01 BCH as a fee to be used in SmartBCH.

The swap process may seem a bit complicated at first, but following the steps, the user will realize that it is quite simple and fast. Note that when starting the swap must be defined the direction (BSC - SmartBCH or SmartBCH - BSC) and only then it will succeed. The transaction hash is provided on the Bolivar platform and the user must copy it to perform the "manual claiming" of transactions.
