It seems the Lockdown in Africa isn't go to end that soon, and COVID-19 will continue to hold on our dreams and keep putting more people out of their jobs making the people' life worse than ever. In South Africa the regime in there announced a new total lockdown due to the increase of infection cases in the country, with more than 1M new ones which forced the government to close borders and all recreational or entertainment centers in the country. This lockdown affect the most of population who doesn't have enough to live by their own and the government can sustain all of them, slowly this calamity is taking turns to a regional catastrophe.
Following the example of South Africa (that closed borders, in the Christmas time and new year Eve) Mozambique, which is one of the countries that participate actively on their commercial trade, also conducted a new lockdown with started on January 15 and will be lifted in 30 days if the infection cases reduce. Life in here, for people who don't know yet am from Mozambique, is becoming catastrophic! Since March 2020 the country have been implementing lockdowns which has turned the life of many miserable and very difficult.
People can't sustain their lifestyle, can't even buy their basic needs, Mozambique have been living with less than a dollar even since the pandemic times and now that dollar cost a lot to have. The Government isn't offering enough support for the people and many of them won't die because the disease but by hungry. Most of the country is on the informal sector, which means that need to go outside to have their money for living (vendors, shop sellers, market workers, bottle stores, bakery...) and all those business are forbidden to open or has defined hours to open.
Despite all of that there's something that is very suspect on our government, no one is full working, many business shut down or will soon shut down, people doesn't have money to pay taxes But the Government Keep charging taxes for everything that involves banks and mobile e-wallet transactions for values below $20 (1500MZN) which is an absurd as that money isn't big enough and deserve to be treated as "free of tax" like they did in the beginning of the disease. Some business owners had their money confiscated until further notice due to not paying taxes, that in the law accordingly with the Presidential announcement is "free of charge" until a new ministers decision.
Something fishy is definitely happening, and because the COVID-19 don't allow reunions or physical contact this guys with Bank problems will have to wait until they get lifted to claim the money seized by Government.
Bitcoin Cash fixes all that, and can do more to help this owners and population in general.
I believe that anyone must be their own Bank, a man must be free of the tyranny of the state, no one should ever be seized money because they failed to pay taxes but the government must understand and support the same citizen to continue pay those taxes, Bitcoin Cash is freedom of money and helps in this turbulent times, anyone have the power to send, store without need for a third party to control their funds. No government can intimidate citizens for not paying taxes, the ones that deserve to be lifted during pandemic times, Bitcoin Cash is revolution and I know that very well!
I suffer and got struggled when I see that comportment of my Government and many more in Africa, their abuse isn't good and people should start seeing and embracing decentralized finances. With the COVID-19 "enrichment government personnel program" i consider that because even with the disease high government staff keep building luxurious mansions when biggest part of our people is suffering and will probably die not by the disease but more by hunger, it's time to look for better ways to save money and emancipate from the state. I can't fight directly with the government but I can take steps to make sure they won't anymore have a damn dime from my pocket, i shut down all my Bank accounts, with that they can no longer have access to it and charge taxes based on my movements.
I only use Bitcoin Cash to pay my bills and support my family needs, it's clear that Casa Bitcoin Cash-Moçambique will continue their efforts to fight and onboard more Mozambicans to accept and use Bitcoin Cash, it's clear that our license will delay even got denied but the project won't die and I will not accept to fail, government tyranny won't threaten us and Bitcoin Cash will be on the streets as soon the lift on COVID-19 get released, even if that don't happen am sure that I will find some breach to make it a reality, the house plans are already in advance!
