I bet some of you feels this “Monday sickness” every week. A tired and exhausting feeling that comes at night before or when you wake up at mornings of Mondays. Yeah, I know, there are people who hates Mondays, I, myself is one of them.
To be productive, we should start a good Monday but how can we do it without actually feeling this void inside? In answering this question, I’ve come up with this blog post. So for this day’s blog I wanted to share with you my top tips and tricks to start a good Monday.
*1. Exercise it your way!*
Stretching up may improve your flexibility thus helping to improve your performance in physical activities. Making a big stretch after a good sleep or when you are tired to do anything can help yourself feel relaxed, energized and ready to take on some action.
*2. Breathe in, breathe out*
Really? But in all honesty letting yourself to feel the warm or cozy feeling of air around you helps in making you feel alive.
*3. Eat something delicious*
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Having the right amount of calories you needed to start up your day can help you in fulfilling your tasks manageably. Eating sumptuous amount of breakfast that you enjoy will surely make you feel energized.
*4. Be an early bird*
Going in your work or school earlier than your usual time can help you save from the hassle of traffic jams and stress brought by Monday mornings. It is better to make your usual yada-yada inside your classroom or office place instead of running just to make it on with your schedule.
*5. Have a Monday morning ritual*
A good Monday morning is a sign of a smooth week (at least, lol). Having your own Monday ritual like cleaning, gardening or having a sip of your freshly brewed coffee is an enthusiastic way for your productivity to start up. Doing what you love before digging in with the upcoming adventures of the week will help in bringing you some good shot.

University Horrors: The Freaky Encounters at University of the Philippines Diliman

Located in Quezon City, Philippines is the University of the Philippines Diliman. It serves as the flagship campus of the University of the Philippines System that was established on February 12, 1949. Aside from being known as the premier University of the Philippines it was also notable for the horrific encounters and urban legends that has been circulating around for decades now.
1. Vinzon’s Hall
Students and faculty members at Vinzon’s Hall claims to see a girl walking along the second floor’s corridor especially in late hours of the night.
One of the stories promulgating around is about the eerie encounter of a student and the ghost in Vinzon’s Hall. The said student is waiting for his friend in the ground floor of the building. He was reading a book by then but since the ground floor was crowded he went to the second floor to read his book in peace. Whilst reading, he heard a woman’s eerily gasp in the men’s comfort room. As he was about to check it out, his friend came and called him.
Before they left, he went into the men’s room to urinate. While doing so, he felt someone patting his head. He looked up and saw a girl hanging from her neck. The soles of her dangling feet is the one who’s grazing his head.
Being shocked by the situation, he hurriedly ran out with his zipper still undone.
2. Kalayaan Hall
The hall serves as a residence dormitory exclusive for freshmen students of the campus but aside being a home for new students it also became a venue of uncanny situations.
Some residents have been advised to refrain from glancing in the mirror facing the stairs to the second floor of the girls' wing where a woman supposedly shows up.
3. Ikot Jeepney
Ikot Jeepneys are the public transportation in the University. These jeepneys serves as the students’ vehicle to take a round within the University grounds while also safeguarding them in unfortunate incidents?
In one story, a girl was on her way to her dorm one night and found herself alone in the Ikot jeep. She was nearing her dorm and asked the driver to stop so she could walk but he kept driving and refused to look at her in the rearview mirror. The driver took a different route and dropped her off directly in front of her dorm. Frazzled, she hurriedly left the jeep. The driver called after her and told her to burn her clothes when she gets home. Why?

Tuesday the 13th, a day of wariness and fear
The western world is known to fear **Friday the 13th**. Some culture in general associates number 13 as an unlucky number from various mythical and superstitious beliefs correlated with it. Although Friday the 13th is infamously known for “misfortune,” Spanish speaking countries regards Tuesday the 13th its equivalent.
It is believe that Tuesday is dominated by **Mars** the *God of War in Norse mythology*. This superstitious belief was strengthen by the occurrences that happened in the said unlucky day such as the fall of Constantinople to the Fourth Crusade occurred on Tuesday, April 13, 1204, and the Fall of Constantinople to the Ottomans happened on Tuesday, 29 May 1453.
As Spaniards say *“en martes, ni te cases, ni embarques ni de tu casa te apartes”* which means *“don’t get married, get on a boat, or leave your house on a Tuesday”* warns, we should take careful and check upon this day. Nevertheless, we should always take extra caution no matter what day it is.
